Overview
The primary airport terminal, apron, and associated facilities are designed to accommodate up to 10 million passengers annually.The terminal complex, comprising the main terminal building, plaza, and links to external auxiliary structures and services, is scheduled to commence operations in 2026.
It will serve both domestic and international passengers, along with providing air cargo services.Distinguished by a unique timber ceiling, the terminal entrance will offer a distinctive ambiance. The terminal will boast landscaped gardens and house entertainment venues, dining options, and retail spaces.
Our role
WSce took charge of implementing the comprehensive fire protection design for the new airport terminal building and associated structures. This encompassed the development of significant fire protection infrastructure and the provision of various fire protection services, such as installation of fire hydrants and hose reels, implementation of fire sprinkler systems, deployment of fire detection and alarm systems, establishment of emergency warning and intercom systems, and integration of gas suppression systems. These measures were carefully designed and implemented to ensure the highest level of fire safety for the terminal and its ancillary buildings.
